Privacy Policy

In short

Fridayroll collects no personal data. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no internet permission, so nothing you do in it can leave your phone. Your play-money progress is stored on the device only and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

1. Who we are

Fridayroll (the “App”) is published by ARCTIQ MOBILE, the developer name of Arctiq Mobile AS (“we”, “us”, “our”), c/o Arctiq AS, Flyplassvegen 4, 9152 Sørkjosen, Norway. Arctiq Mobile AS is the controller for the purposes of this policy. You can reach us at nilsenemma487no@gmail.com.

This policy describes what the App and this website do and do not do with information. The same text, in short form, is shown inside the App under Court → Privacy Policy.

2. What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, receive, sell or share personal data through the App. In particular, the App does not ask for or collect:

  • your name, email address, phone number or postal address;
  • an account, profile or login — there is no sign-up;
  • device identifiers, the advertising identifier or your IP address;
  • location, contacts, photos, files, camera or microphone input;
  • usage analytics, crash reports or event logs;
  • payment information — there is nothing to buy.

3. Why that holds technically

The App does not declare the android.permission.INTERNET permission and asks you for no permissions at all. Without the internet permission, Android does not let the App open network connections, so it cannot upload or download anything.

The App contains no advertising network, no analytics library, no crash reporter, no sign-in service and no billing library. Its building blocks are Android’s own AndroidX and Jetpack Compose libraries and Gson, a library that turns your saved progress into text on the device.

The in-app privacy screen has a button that opens this policy in your web browser. That hands the address to your browser; the page is then loaded by the browser, not by the App.

4. What stays on your device

The App keeps your progress in its own private storage on the phone (Android shared preferences). It holds:

  • whether you have finished the three-page introduction;
  • your Gilt balance, the machine you last played, your coin stake and whether the coach is switched on;
  • totals used for ranks, achievements and the Record screen — Gilt staked, hands dealt, times you followed the coach, Double Up wins, wins on the dealt hand, your biggest win and a count of each hand you have made;
  • the day you last claimed the Royal Stipend, how many stipends you have claimed, and which achievements you have collected;
  • your last ten hands — the machine, the cards, your hold, the coach’s hold, the stake and the result.

None of this identifies you, none of it leaves the device through the App, and we cannot see it. Other apps cannot read it.

5. Backups

The App opts out of Android backup (allowBackup="false"), and its backup rules also exclude its preferences storage from cloud backup and from device-to-device transfer. Your progress is therefore not copied to Google’s backup service or to a new phone.

6. Deleting your data

Because the data exists only on your phone, you control it completely. Uninstalling the App deletes it, and so does Settings → Apps → Fridayroll → Storage → Clear storage (wording varies by device). The App then starts fresh with the introduction and 4,000 Gilt. We hold no copy, so there is nothing to request from us.

7. Sharing, disclosure and transfers

We have no personal data from the App, so we do not share, sell, rent or disclose any, and no data is transferred to other countries. We do not use service providers that process App data on our behalf.

8. Age and children

Fridayroll is a social casino game intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and it knowingly collects nothing from anyone, including children. If you believe a child is using the App, uninstalling it removes everything it stored.

9. Play money only

Gilt is a play currency with no value. It cannot be bought, sold, won, cashed out, transferred or exchanged for money or goods. There are no in-app purchases and no real-money gambling, and the App offers no chance to win real money or prizes. Practice or success at social casino gaming does not imply future success at real-money gambling.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you have rights to access, correct, delete and port personal data a controller holds about you, and to object to or restrict its use. Since we hold none, a request will be answered by confirming that. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Norway this is Datatilsynet.

11. This website

This site sets no cookies, has no forms and runs no analytics of its own. To display it, your browser loads page styles, icons, fonts and an animation script from third-party content networks (Tailwind CSS, cdnjs.cloudflare.com and Google Fonts). Like any web server, those providers receive your IP address and browser details when they deliver those files, under their own privacy policies. The host that serves this site may keep standard server logs in the same way. We do not receive or use that information.

12. Changes to this policy

If the App’s handling of information changes, we will update this page and the in-app text with the next version, and change the effective date above. A version that started collecting data would say so here before it is released.
